  • Extractions

    There are various reasons as to why teeth need to be extracted, including tooth fractures, decay, and dental infection. At MDC, we offer nitrous oxide in addition to local anesthetic to ensure our patients are relaxed and comfortable during dental extractions.

  • Gingivectomy

    Gingivectomy is a dental procedure in which part of the gums are removed to improve dental aesthetics, cleansibility, and/or tooth prognosis. At MDC, our dentists use a diode laser to perform most gingivivectomies which allows for minimal bleeding and almost no post-operative discomfort.

  • Dental Implant Surgery

    Dental implants can be a great, permanent solution to replace missing teeth. During the surgery appointment, the implant fixture is surgically placed into the bone. In general, it takes 4-6 months for bone integration to occur before the process of replacing the tooth can begin.

  • Alveoloplasty

    Alveoloplasty is a surgical procedure in which our dentists reshape and smooth the bone for prosthetic and cosmetic purposes. Alveoloplasties are often performed with full mouth extractions for patients who are transitioning to dentures.

  • Crown Lengthening

    Crown lengthening is a surgical procedure that involves removing excess gum tissue as well as some bone around teeth. Our dentists will determine at your treatment planning appointment if you need crown lengthening to achieve the best outcome possible.

  • Sinus Augementation

    A sinus lift is a surgical procedure which aims to increase the amount of bone in patients with significant bone loss on their upper arch in the premolar and molar area. Sinus lifts are done at the time of implant placement and in conjunction with bone grafting.

  • Bone Grafting

    If it is determined that you do not have enough bone to support a dental implant, our doctors can place a bone graft to rebuild the receded area. The graft will integrate with your natural bone to finally create an adequate base for your dental implant.
